“ Let’s Take a Closer Look”!  is Karl’s tag line !  Karl Dietrich was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, graduated from Perkiomen Prep outside Bethlehem, PA and went on to earn his Associates and Bachelor’s degree in International Hotel and Restaurant Management respectively from the State University of New York (SUNY) in Delhi, NY, and Florida International University (FIU) in Miami, Florida.

A resident of Vero Beach since 1984, his family moved to Seagrove Oceanside on the Barrier Island in 2001. Karl enjoys cooking and won his wife’s heart in 1983, with some of his special preparations including his masterful tableside Caesar. A proud family man, the love of his life, Barbara, was the Manager and Life Care Consultant at Indian River Estates, has now joined AMAC as a licensed Realtor. Their two children, Courtney, a Florida State University (FSU) graduate who has worked as a model with Next Agency, manager/assistant Pro at the Windsor Golf Club, was a top salesperson with Ralph Lauren Golf Division is now a Realtor and partnered with mom, Barbara, at AMAC.  His son Karson, also an FSU graduate, is also a Realtor, with Premier Estate Properties in Ft. Lauderdale, FL working only with million dollar and up properties. The furry family member and Karl’s most faithful companion, Greta,  a yellow Labrador that enjoyed anything if the word “BEACH” was involved.  She has been seen accompanying Karl in one of his many You-Tube videos.  Recently Greta has gone over the rainbow bridge, however, there could be another faithful helper on the horizon. Keep an eye out for that.   An avid golfer, surfing a close second, Karl enjoys hitting the links with his family.
