About Lou

Lou Haggerty hails from Myrtle Beach and Garden City, South Carolina, Manassas, Springfield, and Fredericksburg, Virginia.  Upon graduating from Stonewall Jackson High School in Manassas, Lou went on to receive his associate degree in business from Horry-Georgetown Technical College in Myrtle Beach.  With a keen sense and knowledge of tech, he became a Best Buy Geek Squad Agent and then in 2020 also became a real estate agent, in Virginia, where in his first year was a Million Dollar Top Producer.  Lou relocated to Vero Beach in 2022 where he worked for the Geek Squad and then became a REALTOR® with AMAC in 2023, quickly establishing himself as a trusted local market expert and achieving over $7 million in sales within his first two years.

Married to Christina, who hails from San Antonio, Texas and Fairfax, Virginia, she is the administrative assistant for Riverland in Port St. Lucie. They have two children, Louis Haggerty, Jr. and daughter April and a furry child in the form of a German shepherd Corgi mix named Teddy.

Lou has enjoyed volunteering in the past coaching youth football and basketball.  Additionally, he loves going to the beach, camping, fishing, golf, NASCAR racing, traveling to Las Vegas and cruising having traveled all over the Caribbean to most Caribbean countries as well as the Bahamas.  He hopes one day to check off his bucket list a visit to Australia. 

Along with Mexican and Italian food at the top of his favorite foods list, Lou also loves all types of music, but especially Southern Rock or 80’s Hair Bands and is a diehard fan of the Washington Commanders football team and the Baltimore Orioles baseball team. Most of all, Lou loves Vero Beach and living here in paradise.
