About Megan

Born and raised in Vero Beach, Megan Beath has lived here her whole life and loves our little town, especially its history.  

 Hard working from an early age, at 14 Megan was a cashier at the old hometown barbeque restaurant called Fatboys, and from age 16-18 worked as runner at Sullivan & Sullivan law firm.  After graduating Vero Beach High school, she worked in banking at J.P. Morgan/Chase for 6 years while attending classes at Indian River State College (IRSC). Then, shifting gears at 26, she got her medical assistant and phlebotomy license and worked at Treasure Coast Community Health.

 Megan is engaged to John Laurino, who is from Boca Raton,  attended college in Gainesville, and is the lead AC installer at Air Docs.  John, Megan, and her two boys Christopher, 18 months, and Eli, 8 years, love to spend time together at home working around the house or doing anything outdoors involving the water like going to the beach or the pool, boating, or going to water parks.  They enjoy going to Eli’s motocross events and soccer games and Megan volunteers at Eli’s school, Saint Helens, and always chairs a game booth at their annual fair.  Ultimately, her favorite thing is making memories with them and their 10-year-old German Shepherd, Axel, who does get to join them on occasion.

 In her spare time, Megan likes finding local things for the kids to do so she created a Facebook group called Vero Beach Children Activities for caregivers to be able to go to one page to find local activities for their kids. She also recently started meditating and doing yoga.  They are also a Florida Gators family who like to go to Gainesville to the football games and spend time with local friends there.   Going out to eat, spending time with friends and family and  attending local festivities like Downtown Friday or the Farmer’s Market are other fun pastimes.  They take an annual family ski trip to Colorado, her favorite, where Eli has been skiing with since he was 5-years old.  She’s looking forward to the years to come when Christopher can start skiing with them and carrying out the family tradition for as long as possible. She is extremely grateful and feels extremely blessed for the life she has.

 Her older brother, Brad, is a firefighter in Brevard County and Megan visits family often in the small coastal town of Jonesport, Maine where her uncle is the mayor, and her cousins are lobster fishermen. No stranger to a company real estate legacy, Megan’s great grandparents opened the one and only real estate business in town called Jonesport Realty which her uncle and cousins run as well.

 Passionate about helping people, Megan prides herself on being a great listener, a trait that has always helped her be successful in building relationships and excelling in customer service.  As a real estate agent, she is committed to giving 100% to make sure her clients are happy, will ALWAYS do what is right for them to make certain they are more than satisfied!
