When you buy a home in Vero Beach, one of the first things you're likely going to want to do is decorate it - and that starts with the entryway. Check out these three entryway essentials you need to welcome your guests in style.

3 Entryway Essentials Your New Vero Beach Home Needs

Your home's entryway - commonly called the foyer - should be the warmest, most welcoming space in the house. That's where you'll greet your guests, and it's even the first place you'll end up after a long day at work.

No entryway is complete without:

  • A mirror
  • Great lighting
  • A bench or seat

Here's a closer look at each.

Entryway Mirrors

A great entryway needs a mirror - especially if it's a small space. Mirrors make spaces appear larger, and they reflect light; both those things combined can make your entryway warm and welcoming. Besides, you'll want to check yourself on the way out the door, too - and a mirror in your foyer is the best place to do it.

Entryway Lighting

A small lamp on your entryway table adds visual appeal, and you can leave it on when all the other lights in the house are off. That way, when you come home, you're not walking into pitch-blackness. It provides a nice aesthetic touch, too, even when you're not using it.

A Bench or Seat

In addition to creating seating space for putting on and taking off shoes, a bench makes an entryway look more inviting. No room for a bench? That's okay - you can add a small stool or something similar to create the same look.
