About Patrick

Patrick Moultney’s design skills coupled with his broad experience in finance, real estate expertise and acute ability to truly hear and understand each individual client’s vision, allow him to provide each person with the utmost in real estate professionalism and care.
Patrick was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. He received his bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Dayton. His first job out of college was with Arthur Andersen in Washington, D.C. as a Tax Accountant where he lived in Georgetown for three years before taking a two-year sabbatical abroad in Italy and Greece where he traveled extensively, painted, sketched and taught English.
Upon returning to the States, he moved to Manhattan changing careers to focus on his decorative arts and painting. In the early 90s, Patrick opened his decorative design studio, 30 Bond, providing art, antique furniture and design services to New York interior design and architecture firms. Patrick went on to become Global Creative Director for Ralph Lauren of Vintage, Antiques and Artisan Products.
In 2011, he and his partner Rob, moved to Florida and opened patrick moultney design group in Miami Beach where they provided interior design services, curated antiques and restored/sold vintage homes. They became known for their eclectic interiors and their signature approach of combining unusual found objects of varying origins and provenance creating whimsically unique yet sophisticated environments. Their designs and artwork have been featured in THE NEW YORK TIMES, ELLE DECOR, HOUSE BEAUTIFUL, and ARCHITECTURAL DIGEST.
Much of Patrick’s inspiration comes from his mother and grandmother who where both fashion sketch artists for Rikes, their local department store in Dayton. His grandmother would hold art classes for her grandchildren and take them on frequent day trips to the Dayton Art Institute where they would be quizzed on their favorite paintings. As a child, he would spend summers with his grandparents in Belleair Bluffs, Florida, fishing off their dock, water skiing and working in their gardens.
A few of Patrick’s favorite things: Swimming, biking, skiing, yoga, running, white sandy beaches, lush tropical environments, flip flops, jeans, white T-shirts, convertibles, empowered/inspiring people, family, friends and kindness.
