Alexa Dupuis is a native Floridian born and raised in Coral Gables.
After visiting Vero Beach with her family since the mid-70s, she and her husband, Chris, chose to make Seagrove Oceanside their permanent home in January 2015. Following in the footsteps of her mother Lourdes Garrido’s very successful 35-year real estate career at EWM in Coral Gables, Alexa was a successful real estate agent in Miami for almost 10 years with Sotheby's, Fortune International Realty, and most recently with Shelton & Stewart Realty, which was also a Leverage partner like Alex MacWilliam Real Estate.
Prior to her real estate career, Alexa worked as VP Sales & Marketing for 10+ years with her father, Jorge Garrido who is an attorney but was the longtime owner of Tradelink, Inc. an import/export company that, ironically, shipped Indian River County grapefruits to a French subsidiary…Delices de Outre Mer amongst other items, and for Tradelink’s sister company, BeverageLink Distributors, a beer, wine & spirits import/export company before he sold both companies in 2005.
Aside from her love of real estate, Alexa enjoys family time, beach days, tennis…where she plays on the Indian River Tennis League, travel and reading…actively participating in two book clubs. A 1993 Georgetown University graduate, where she majored in English, and a Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart "lifer", Alexa greatly enjoys running into fellow alumni from both networks here in Vero. Her husband Chris is VP of Kent International, one of the largest cycling manufacturers in the country, and travels frequently to China where they manufacture lots of cycling components. Their 5-year-old daughter, Carolina, attends St. Edward's School where Alexa is a room mom as well as an active volunteer. Angela Pate helps homeowners get quicker sales and better selling prices by staging and designing
or renovating homes listed by her. Often staging is gratis to sellers who list with her. Angela believes that her experiences as a world traveler for almost 25 years are perhaps as important as her formal education. Angela believes she and her husband John’s days as globetrotters have given them insight and understanding of many countries they visited.
Her “extended education” in the university of international travel began as a resident of Singapore in 1975, when John took a job as editor of an international offshore oil journal. She holds an undergraduate degree from Elmira College and a Master’s from Syracuse University.
Today, she is active in the local art scene as a supporter of the Atlantic Classical Orchestra and the Vero Beach Museum of Art. She is an active member of the Junior League, The Piano Duet Club of Vero Beach, Beachsiders Toastmasters, and the Junior League Sustainers Book Club.
She likes to jest that food is the only edible art form. In fact, she is a gourmet cook and author of “Cooking By The Seat of Your Pants,” which has been a popular seller at the Vero Beach Book Center. She suggests the recipe to selling your home quickly and with minimal stress begins by contacting her.
A proud Vero Beach native, Ansley Watkins is involved in many endeavors in the local
business and real estate community. Along with being a Commercial and Residential Property Manager with Gori Property Management; she and her husband, Philip, own Watkins Cleaning Service and Ansley has now become a REALTOR® to provide clients with the utmost in services when buying or selling a property.
Ansley met her loving husband, Philip Watkins, from Mancelona, Michigan, soon after high school and they married on January 8th, 2011. Eager to make money and a life of their own, they started Watkins Cleaning business and with a quickly expanding clientele was given an opportunity to provide property management services for their clients. This was a major stepping stone that revamped their careers when Mr. Randy Gori of Gori Julian and Associates P.C., offered them a job managing his home in Orchid Island and his commercial properties in Vero Beach which they happily accepted. Upon witnessing first-hand her genuine care for others, intense work ethic, and savvy business acumen Mr. Gori encouraged Ansley to expand her scope of work and generously provided her Real Estate education.
Growing up, Ansley was encouraged by her parents to learn to play a musical instrument and chose the cello where, under the tutelage of Matthew Stott, her passion for music began. Having attended Indian River Charter High School VAPA Performing Arts School, the Vero Beach High School Orchestra program and dual enrollment at Indian River State College, she loved English, modern dance, and ballet classes, however, her driving force in school was cello and orchestra training. In her junior and senior year, Ansley had the privilege of leading her peers in the cello section as the principal chair cellist and after high-school she continued to play with quartets and as a solo artist at weddings and other events. An honest, dedicated, and hard-working person who loves to help others, she is also very thankful to her loving parents for providing her and her younger sister with an invaluable foundation through Bible education.
Continuing to work with her husband managing properties, Ansley enjoys her love of the cello playing whenever possible, and delights in their two very entertaining chihuahuas, Veruca and Gus. Well versed, from top to bottom in all that is real estate, when you need a devoted and trustworthy REALTOR® to help you with buying, selling, or renting, a home or commercial property, look no further...she’s your girl. REALTOR, ACCREDITED LUXURY HOME SPECIALIST
Greetings! I’m Camille Yates, and I look forward to serving you to help fulfill your real estate needs.
I’ve been involved in real estate all of my adult life, primarily in investment and management and now sales. I enjoy helping people - to connect them to special things that will enhance their lives. Although I’m a sixth generation Texan, I moved to Florida in 1984. My passion for this area runs deep.
To educate people about this beautiful region, I wrote a book called Treasured Waters which describes the history and ecology of the area. Did you know that our surrounding Indian River Lagoon is the most diverse estuary in North America? That’s just one of the many things that make Vero Beach and the Treasure Coast a unique place to live, work and play.
I’m a highly motivated individual, personable, professional, possess excellent communications skills and have a commitment to superior customer service. I’m enthusiastic, creative, confident and poised in interactions with individuals at all levels. Along with my involvement in real estate, I was also a licensed mortgage broker, so I know how important it is to help people get pre-qualified for a mortgage prior to making an offer on a property. I’m also skilled at coordinating and staying on top of things to ensure that transactions are closed in a timely fashion.
When I’m not working for clients assisting them with real estate sales and management, I can be found walking my Labrador retriever along Ocean Drive or boating in the Indian River Lagoon. I’m an avid outdoor enthusiast, bird watcher, orchid grower and like to landscape using native plants to provide food and habitat for butterflies, birds and more. I’m actively involved as a volunteer in this community, and throughout my career I’ve served on numerous government and non-profit boards in the region always striving to improve the quality of life for all. I was recently inducted as a director in the Rotary Club of Vero Beach. Rotary is an international service organization, and our club in Vero was established in 1926. As a Rotarian, I believe in "service above self," and will work hard for you as we accomplish your goals to buy or sell property.

Hailing from Princeton, NJ, via the Chicago suburbs of Wheaton and Glen Ellyn as a child,
Deeann Lemmerling’s love for Vero Beach is evident.
Having visited the Treasure Coast since childhood, and as an adult when her parents divided their retirement years between Chicagoland and Stuart, FL, it was a visit to Vero friends during the particularly rough winter of 2014 that Deeann and husband, Luc, fell in love with the area. So much so that they purchased a house before heading back to NJ! “It was meant to be,” she says, “We listed our house in NJ and had a full price offer in a week!
Several months later Luc retired from his OB-GYN practice, we became full-time Vero residents, and we have never looked back!”
Deeann’s career titles make for a perfect fit for real estate. She had a successful career as a Registered Nurse. She truly cares about people. She ran a well-known gourmet food store and catering business in Princeton called Bon Appetit for nearly 20 years with her brother-in-law, Michel before he sold it and became the general manager of a startup farm-to-fork market in Hopewell, NJ with founders Robin and Jon McConaughy called Brick Farm Market. She’s very service oriented.
Five step-children and grandchild #10 coming the end of August 2017, Deeann finds time, when not walking her furry child Wallace, a Bichon Frise, to volunteer at United Against Poverty in Vero. She assists with their annual Turkey Trot and helps students write resumes then does mock interviews with them so they may better reenter the workforce. “It is a great local organization so I try to help out whenever I am asked to do so. I have made some good friends there,” she declared.
Considering all that, it should be no surprise that some of Deeann’s hobbies include baking, cooking, walking Wallace on the beach, crossword puzzles, reading, biking with Luc, and watching HGTV and the Food Network. And that now, Deeann Lemmerling is pairing two of her many loves…her passion for people with her interest in real estate…to start a new chapter in her life in this paradise she calls home. Feel free to reach out to her anytime at 609-575-7710 or Deeann@alexmacwilliam.com or meet her at www.AlexMacWilliam.com.

Dorothy brings a unique perspective to Alex MacWilliam, Inc. Real Estate. She was born
of New England parents in Coral Gables, Florida and will tell you that the combination of north meeting south made her "a different kind of kid--a Yankee brought up in South Florida."
She laughs that she is in her third career in real estate - first in land development as Vice President and General Counsel for The Moorings. Second as founder of Dorothy A. Hudson, Chartered, a law firm specializing in real estate and commercial transactions, where she handed thousands of real estate closings along with a wide variety of development issues.
After twenty years of owning her real estate law business, she feels that the challenge of being a real estate agent now suits her. "It gets you to do the interactive, fun part of real estate." Hudson is a no nonsense, cut through the red-tape kind of real estate agent who gets her wealth of knowledge from having been a real estate lawyer in her own practice.
Hudson has a BA degree with Honors in Anthropology as well as a law degree from the University of Florida. She spent her senior year before law school studying in Holland to experience a different cultural experience in a unique atmosphere.
She has served on the advisory council to the Indian River Land Trust and it's Land Committee, and has a deep understanding of the crucial need to balance development with environmental sensitivity to ensure sustainable growth for generations to come. She also served as an adjunct member of the Indian River Community College faculty where she has taught real estate law, the Indian River County Planning and Zoning Commission, the Indian River Board of Zoning Adjustment and Appeals, and the Building Code Board of Adjustments and Appeals.
When not immersed in real estate, Dorothy enjoys hiking, kayaking, gardening and most importantly, pursuing her art. She was a founding owner/artist of Gallery 14, a find arts gallery in Vero Beach, FL. and now has her work at it's companion, 14-1/2. She is a former board member of the Cultural Council of Indian River County and takes great pride in the Gallery 14's efforts to make the art district a dining and cultural destination in historical downtown Vero Beach.
Ed is originally from the Louisville, Kentucky area. He studied Biology at Western Kentucky University
and after college owned his own businesses for over 25 years. He moved to Florida in 1985 and has enjoyed the beautiful coast and many hours of fishing and scuba diving. He is married to June, a local educator and also a licensed realtor. They have two grown children and two grandchildren.
Buyers and sellers alike comment on Ed's outstanding work ethic and diligence. His perseverance, honesty, and fairness always come through in every transaction - large or small. He has received recognition as Top Producer and more importantly, gratitude and respect from his clients. He offers unsurpassed marketing, communication, and negotiating skills and he works tirelessly to achieve positive results. His sense of humor is always present - making the buying and selling process enjoyable.

by it; the tangible nature of it as an investment, the creative aspect of the aesthetics of a property and the potential that can be envisioned. Real estate and the projects that are born from it engage both the rational side of the brain and the artistic side as well.
He grew up in Maine where he was introduced to the hunting and fishing at a young age. He went to St. Mark’s School in Southborough, MA and then to Bucknell University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in 1986. After working in commercial real estate for several years in Boston, John moved to Jackson Hole, Wyoming where for the next 26 years he specialized in luxury residential ranch and resort real estate serving clients throughout the entire Rocky Mountain region. During that time, he was an Associate Broker at Sotheby’s, and an owner and partner with Hall & Hall Inc., involved in hundreds of millions of dollars in transactions ranging from under half a million to over 60 million.
Deciding to relocate to Florida upon becoming empty-nesters, John and his wife Laurel, scoured the state for three years before choosing Vero Beach in 2017 as the ideal location noting it has great beaches and weather, is a very dog friendly community, and has a level of sophistication not found in many communities of its size. John and Laurel along with their dog, Luna, a rescue German Shepard Boxer mix, are loving the Vero lifestyle. He joined the Riomar Country Club where he serves on the Greens committee and the Strategic Planning committee, and they are members at Quail Valley River Club and of Fisher's Island Club of New York where they spend Summers.
They have five grown children, Augustas Pierce, 25, graduated from Hobart College and works for Triumverate, an environmental engineering firm in Boston, MA; Charlotte Pierce, 23, graduated from Colorado College and works for Vertafore an insurance technology firm in Denver, CO; Caroline Pierce, 19, a Freshman at Santa Clara University in San Jose, CA; Mackenzie, 25, who works as a nurse at UCSF Benihoff Childrens Hospital in the cardiac care department and Elsa, 23, who is studying engineering in Bozeman, MT. When his kids were young, he served as Vice Chair and Chairman of the Board for The Teton Science Schools and coached local kids club soccer.
John loves travel adventures having toured Morocco; sailed the sea of Cortez; Heli-skied the Canadian Rockies; surfed the north shore of Kauai; caught giant Trevally on the fly in the Seychelles; toured all of western and eastern Europe; bare boated in southeast Alaska; Elk hunted in Montana; bird hunted in New England; golfed in New Zealand; traveled the east coast of Australia; swam with sharks and manta rays in Tahiti; and did a photo safari in Kenya…so far. At home, he enjoys good food, good people, golf, paddle boarding (SUP), biking, pickle ball, fishing, music, backgammon and cribbage.
John Pierce brings a level of professionalism and a spectrum of luxury real estate knowledge that is prized in the business and he looks forward to utilizing his worldly talents assisting Vero Beach clients with all their real estate needs. Contact him anytime at 307-690-1756 or via John@AlexMacWilliam.com.
John Stringer has been in the arts for his entire career, well over 35 years. He is the President of the
highly regarded J.M. Stringer Gallery of Fine Art, for the last 15 years located in Bernardsville, NJ and for the past four years on Ocean Drive in Vero Beach. Over that time, John has helped transform his clients’ homes from just a house into a haven of beauty, culture and refinement.
In his words:
When I discovered Vero Beach after searching in other parts of Florida, I said “I found my place”. You know when a community suits you, and for me Vero Beach was exactly the type of place I could call home. It appeals to people with an “artful eye” because it is special, naturally beautiful, quietly sophisticated and genuinely friendly.
It was seven years ago when after my very first visit to Vero that I purchased my home. I have never regretted that decision once. Since that time, I have come to treasure this “Village by the Sea” more and more and feel blessed to live here.
So many of my friends, clients and colleagues have visited and quickly see what makes Vero special. Not surprisingly, many have ultimately purchased homes here as well. Encouraged by many of those friends, I decided to become a Realtor so I can help more people to become part of this exceptional community and find their own slice of paradise.
After buying and selling many homes myself over the years, I am very aware that for many the process of buying and or selling real estate can be a daunting experience. My goal is to make it as stress free as possible, guiding my clients throughout the process and conclude the transaction in the most professionally pleasing manner.
My goal is to offer full service relocation services. Finding the perfect home is of course first and foremost. Identifying ones needs is crucial. For some, a grand home by the sea or river is the right type of property. However for most, it’s finding that perfect little jewel of a property. Or for some looking for a project, it may be finding that gem in the rough that has incredible potential. Whatever is the ideal fit, I’m committed to finding you the perfect home.
Once a property is purchased, if requested, I am happy to help with design services and to be a guide in finding reliable tradesmen as well as sourcing the best of Vero Beach vendors and beyond so my clients may properly outfit and furnish their homes to reflect their own personal style.
I look forward to meeting you and learning how I may be of assistance to you. Welcome to an exciting time in your life and to discovering the magic of Vero Beach.

Kyle Von Kohorn
Kyle Von Kohorn was born and raised in Vero Beach, FL and is remarkably well-acquainted with
this lovely coastal town and its satellite communities. “Living in Vero Beach for virtually all my life affords me a unique familiarity with the area from the waterways, beaches and communities to the school districts, local businesses and professionals,” he asserted.
After earning his degree in Business Administration at the University of North Florida, Kyle was recruited, and subsequently immersed himself in the hospitality industry working with familiar brands such as Marriott and Hilton. He was quickly identified, by upper management, as an unusually competent and gifted individual resulting in his becoming the youngest General Manager in his field assigned to the (sometimes onerous) task of moving from one problem property to another in order to bring them up to their expected potential.
His continual striving for excellence combined with his expertise in the Hospitality industry garnered him not only several awards and company-wide recognition, but more importantly, the respect of his colleagues, clients, and the hospitality community. Kyle’s passion for performing at the highest possible level is an attribute he acquired innately and brings to all of his endeavors (including scuba diving and deep sea fishing, winning awards in the latter arena as well).
Achieving industry awards and recognition for his success, Kyle had, most recently, been promoted to General Manager at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Holiday/Tarpon Springs in the Tampa Bay Area of Florida but instead of accepting the position decided the time was right to make the career change he had truly longed for. “I had always dreamed of returning home to Vero Beach and utilizing my talents in Real Estate,” declared Kyle. “The timing was right for me to act on that dream and team up with my dad, Craig, a ‘Top Producer’ and well-respected local realtor,” Kyle boasted, “…to help people find the home and community in which they want to live while making the process, from beginning to end, smooth and enjoyable.”
You will find Kyle to be a gentle man – attentive, kind, and genuinely curious about their needs, desires and dreams – but he also has your back. Just as in his hospitality career, as a REALTOR, you will be able to rely on Kyle’s honesty, integrity, and his outstanding work ethic as he helps you locate the area, the community, and ultimately the home, in which you want to live. Please contact Kyle Von Kohorn anytime at 772-501-0816, Kyle.VonKohorn@gmail.com, or visit allverobeachhomes.com

As a Vero Beach resident since 1989, I have experienced Vero Beach through unique eyes...
as a student of our local schools, as a working adult, and as a parent with a family now in school. My interests are everything coastal! I love the warm weather and all activities which allow me to be outside. Married to the love of my life, we absolutely live for watching our children perform gymnastics, surf, play soccer, volleyball and flag football.
We feel very fortunate to have the opportunity of watching our daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter grow into a beautiful little family right here in Vero.
My decision to join the real estate market was naturally the next step to enhancing the estate management company my husband and I built together. We have the privilege of working with some of the best barrier island residents while managing and maintaining their private homes. Before building our business, I had the opportunity to work as an American Sign Language Interpreter for the Indian River County School District which helped me develop empathy, understanding and patience. Prior to interpreting I learned a tremendous amount of leadership skills, problem-solving skills, project management, communication skills, customer service and business ethics as the Client Services Manager at Dodgertown Sports and Conference Center (now known as Historic Dodgertown) preceding the Los Angeles Dodgers departure.
As the Executive Administrator of the John’s Island Community Service League, I have developed a huge amount of respect for Vero’s big-hearted businesses and residents. It is true testimony of how philanthropic our community is by their continued generous support of our local agencies in need.
Vero has so much to offer… while enjoying the smell of the salt in the air and listening to the waves crash on the shore, you are able to experience our small town feel dining at one of Vero’s quaint restaurants, visiting a local brewery, enjoying Vero’s art and antique district, walking through the exhibit at the Vero Beach Museum of Art, catching a show at Riverside Theater or strolling down our oceanside boutiques and shops.
I look forward to helping you find your perfect home in our little piece of paradise!

As a Realtor with more than twenty three years in general and developmental real estate in
Indian River County, Patty knows the area inside and out. She has the lowdown on private golf and boating communities, after seven years on the real estate staff of Grand Harbor.
When she's not wheeling and dealing on behalf of her clients, where can she be found?
You might find her fishing on the Blue Cypress Lake or in the Atlantic. A former resident of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, Patty cut her teeth fishing for walleye.
Or, she loves getting her hands dirty on their farm gathering eggs, avocados, fresh produce and feeding the 6 "Cracker Cows". She enjoys long walks on Vero's beautiful beaches and as a former life guard & dolphin trainer at the Ocean Reef Club, she loves the ocean!
Then again, you may find her in the kitchen, whipping up a bonus treat for a client-perhaps just for you!
Patty says: "Finding the right piece of property is the most important mission and by the end of the process we will hopefully become good friends!".

We have two ears and one mouth so that we can listen twice as much as we speak" so said
the Greek Philosopher, Epictetus, around 55AD
If you're buying property:
Do you want a Realtor to tell you what you should buy. What you should not buy. What you need?
Or, do you want to work with someone who listens to what you're saying. What you're thinking. What your priorities are. What your ideas are. What motivates you.
If you're selling property:
Do you want your Realtor to just say "yes" to everything?
Or do you want to be involved with someone who understands how the market works. Understands the process of selling. Can give you a good guide to pricing. Can help make your house more sellable. Can give you real supportive help through the process.
I've been in the "people" business all my life. Caring for people and managing people. Supporting people & helping them work to timetables and deadlines. Looking after the finer details of business. Negotiating with others. Making sure things go smoothly. I've worked in large corporations and run my own company for 18 years. I understand how business works.
I'm originally from London, England and with my American wife Kitty, we moved to Vero Beach in 2002. We love it here and we're both actively involved in the community. It's the best place in the world.
If you need support in any Real Estate business, I'm your man.
Just give me a ring and find out why so many others have been appreciative of my help.
