Kym Wallace grew up in Johnstown, PA and upon graduating from Wilma Boyd Career College in Pittsburgh worked for several years as an administrative assistant for an engineering company in Pennsylvania. Upon having children, Kym chose to retire and become a stay-at-home-mom as family is very important to her. “I love kids, especially little ones. My husband thought I should open a daycare....I told him ‘then it would be work and forget it.’“ Kym’s son just graduated high school and will be attending Thomas University in Thomasville, GA this Fall....majoring in History and Criminal Justice. Her oldest daughter has been a teacher in Indian River County for eight years and this Fall will begin teaching at St. Edward's Lower School. “Luckily my daughter’s family lives close by and my husband and I get to spend quality time with our granddaughter whether it is swimming in the pool, boating, or chalk drawing in the driveway, she brings a huge smile to our faces!”
Kym has volunteered at the Hibiscus Children’s Center and attends Community Baptist Church in Roseland, FL where she helps in the nursery, is very active in Missions, and sings on the Praise and Worship Team. She is passionate about golf (she’s an avid 9-holer having chaired the 9-holers at Bent Pine this year), fishing, hunting (she loves to eat it, not shoot it), skiing, and the beach!
